FAQs

How often do you change the Apple Pencil tip?

I change my Apple Pencil tip every 2-3 months because I draw on Procreate every day, and I use a Paperlike screen protector, which is rougher than iPad’s display. Before, when I didn’t use Paperlike, I didn’t have to change the tip at all.

How do I know when to change the Apple Pencil tip?

You will know when to change the Apple Pencil tip when the inside metal part starts coming out, and when you draw, it won’t be as smooth as before.

How long does an Apple Pencil tip last?

The Apple Pencil tip can last forever if you don’t use any screen protector. I use the Paperlike screen protector, and I have to change it every 2 – 3 months because I draw in Procreate every day.
