The rough texture template is based on a high-resolution scan of a natural air-dried, acid-free and chlorine free, 100% cotton fiber, 640gsm paper.
I carefully adjusted and condensed it to provide you with an amazing watercolor paper effect that will inspire you and make you happy!
What is This Procreate Paper like?
This paper template has a beautiful rough paper texture that is great for any type or style of painting. It features subtle color variation and crisp highlights.
Even though it’s a cold-press paper texture, it is less rough than some other cold-press paper textures.
It is suitable for illustrating both portraits and landscapes.
What Procreate Brushes Should You Use?
The beauty of this texture template? It works with any brush set. Though, I recommend using the Procreate brushes I’ve crafted and offer in my shop to give you the best experience.
This aquarelle paper template is excellent for watercolor, gouache, but also for pen and ink, acrylics and calligraphy.

💡Just a heads up, there are no Procreate brushes included with this texture.
This paper texture is essentially a Procreate document with several carefully designed layers that interact with your artwork and give it an incredibly fine watercolor appearance.
You can customize the look and feel if you like. For a more subtle look, you can toggle off (hide) some of the layers with additional art texture on top of your painting. On the other hand you can also toggle off (hide) the paper texture and use only art texture on top of your painting.
It’s designed to work seamlessly with Procreate, and you can always find my brush sets under the brush tab if you need them. They’re there to help you make the most of this beautiful watercolor texture.
